La Giornata internazionale delle foreste, che si celebra ogni anno il 21 marzo, è un invito a riconoscere il valore insostituibile degli alberi e degli ecosistemi forestali nella salvaguardia della vita sul pianeta. Le foreste non sono soltanto “polmoni verdi”: sono habitat, risorse, protezione, futuro.
La sostenibilità è parte integrante dell’identità industriale di BD Plast. Non un’aggiunta, ma una scelta strategica radicata nei processi produttivi, nella progettazione dei nostri prodotti e nelle collaborazioni che attiviamo lungo tutta la filiera.
È con questo spirito che è nata la nostra partnership con Treedom, piattaforma internazionale che promuove la rigenerazione forestale attraverso progetti agroforestali ad alto impatto ambientale e sociale. Grazie a questa collaborazione, abbiamo dato vita alla foresta aziendale di BD Plast: un’iniziativa concreta, trasparente e tracciabile che contribuisce a compensare parte delle nostre emissioni residue e a generare valore per i territori coinvolti.
Ad oggi abbiamo piantato oltre 400 alberi in Tanzania, coinvolgendo attivamente agricoltori locali in un percorso di formazione, cura e responsabilità condivisa. Ogni albero è fotografato, geolocalizzato e monitorato nel tempo, a testimonianza di un impegno che non si esaurisce con il gesto simbolico della piantumazione, ma che cresce e si consolida nel tempo.

BD Plast is an Italian company founded in 1986, specialising in the design, manufacture and sale of filtration systems for plastic polymers. Its product range includes manual, hydraulic and continuous-flow filter changers, static filters, components for extrusion lines and accessories.
